My cockatiels started screaming, making a sound that implied something was wrong.
It wasn’t the noise they make when fighting each other.
There was a kibble in the water dish. I gave them clean water.
Still grumpy.
Their cuttlebone holder was askew, so I fixed it.
More grumpy.
Turns out, an itsy, bitsy, spider was crawling around the blanket that covers their cage – and they didn’t like it.
Spider has been brought back outside. Cockatiels are now snoozing.
