Flight Rising is a game where you control a Lair full of dragons. There are many things you can do with your dragons, including breeding them, dressing them up, and having them fight in the coliseum.
Every month, Flight Rising has a special Holiday event. The Trickmurk Circus event started on February 27, 2016, and ended on February 27, 2016. This festival honored the Shadow Flight.
In this blog, I review the exclusive items that I obtained from this year’s Trickmurk Circus event. All of the artwork in this post is copyright of Flight Rising.
The Insubstantial Illusionist was the holiday Familiar for this year’s Trickmurk Circus. It is one of a series of Familiars that can only be obtained by using special currency while the event was taking place.
This is what the Insubstantial Illusionist looks like.
Insubstantial Illusionist: – Familiar – Elemental acolyte of the Shadowbinder. (Trickmurk Circus Holiday Item 2016.) – Sell Value – 0
I decided to give the Insubstantial Illusionist Familiar to Joker. Their colors and shapes seemed to go together. Joker is a Shadow Flight dragon that was born in my Dragon Lair. I try to pair up the Holiday Familiars with dragons that match the flight of that Familiar (when I can).
Joker is a male Spiral.
Primary: Shadow Iridescent
Secondary: Spring Shimmer
Tertiary: Steel Crackle
Joker is wearing the Shady Crown, which was one of the items that was exclusive to the Trickmurk Circus in 2016. It matches his eyes.
Shady Crown: – Apparel – A glorious crown awarded to dragons who have shown good leadership while visiting The Tangled Wood (Trickmurk Circus Holiday Item 2016) – Sell Value: 0
Players also could obtain the Frigid Emblem during the 2016 Trickmurk Circus festival. I already had three of them, and did not feel the need to buy another one. I gave the Frigid Emblems to my two starter dragons, and one to a Shadow Flight dragon that was born in my Lair.
Shadowspawn is a female Guardian.
Primary: Silver Basic
Secondary: Storm Basic
Tertiary: Green Basic
Bob is a male Fae.
Primary: Forest Basic
Secondary: Banana Basic
Tertiary: Ivory Basic
Marroo is a male Tundra.
Primary: Mulberry Basic
Secondary: Violet Basic
Tertiary: Carmine Basic
Shady Emblem: – Apparel – A glowing shadow rune; the sign of a true magical adept. (Trickmurk Circus Holiday Item).
The only exclusive item that I was unable to purchase during the 2016 Trickmurk Circus was the Gloomwillow Guide (which is a piece of apparel that looks like a Familiar). Fortunately, I was able to buy it from the Auction House for a reasonable amount of Treasure.
Xochi is a female Coatl.
Primary: Avocado Iridescent
Secondary: Caribbean Seraph
Tertiary: Magenta Gembond
Gloomwillow Guide: – Apparel – Through the oppressive murk, you notice a faint, dancing light. Do you follow? (Trickmurk Circus Holiday Item 2016)
You might have noticed that Xochi’s genes do not match up to the color that she appears to be. This is because she is wearing an exclusive Holiday Skin that came from the 2014 Trickmurk Circus. It is called “Hidden in Shadow”. It randomly appeared inside a chest that I opened in 2014.
