Once in a while, I spend a little time playing some games that were made by Zynga.  I don’t use Facebook, so I access the games by visiting the Zynga website.  There is a “virtual food” game called ChefVille that amuses me. I have a ton of food allergies so my real world food options are very limited.  Somehow, playing with digital food makes me happy.  I’ve no idea why.

The cool thing about the Zynga website is that you get your very own Avatar.  You can customize the gender, face, and hair to suit your style. There are plenty of clothing options to choose from. Most of the clothing and accessories cost in-game money (for lack of a better term).  To get it, all you have to do is click on a thing on the main Zynga website, and you get a little bit more of it.  Save it to purchase whatever it is that you think would look cool on your Avatar.

The screenshot you see in this blog was taken on October 13, 2014.  I have turned my Avatar into a skeleton.  It’s a little bit creepy, a little bit punk, and something that I would consider dressing up as on Halloween.  I’ll be keeping my Avatar looking like this until after Halloween… or until it I get tired of it, whichever comes first.

My Halloween Zynga Avatar is a post written by Jen Thorpe on Book of Jen and is not allowed to be copied to other sites.
