I wrote this series of stressful haiku between December 29, 2014, and February 26, 2015. Each haiku is a snapshot of my mental state as Shawn and I waited for sixty days after our bankruptcy case was done. Creditors could come after us within those sixty days, and the uncertainty was wearing on me.
I read “Sixty Days” on episode 28 of my Words of Jen podcast.
