My body tries to hibernate when the pollen count is in the 10s.

I’ve been asleep all day, and woke up just in time to take my antihistamine.

My husband is holding down the fort while I’m incapacitated.

This is the second day in a row where “getting dressed” means “changing out of the pajamas I’m wearing and into other pajamas.”

Everything hurts. My digestive tract is so very unhappy today. My body basically thinks I’m being poisoned from the pollen. My eyes hurt. My sinuses are on fire. My joints are screaming because inflammation is bad for rheumatoid arthritis. I am exhausted.

If I’m really lucky, the ginger ale I’m drinking (so I could take my antihistamine) will enable me to eat something.
