Another Hour’s Worth of Progress

There are days when Shawn and I don’t have a whole lot of time to play Diablo III together, but still want to play. If you only have an hour – then an hour will have to do!

When we started, my Demon Hunter, ThirtySeven, and his Barbarian, Smashez, were in Act III of Normal difficulty. Each was at level 28. Not much progress happened in the hour that we played this time, but every little bit helps!

An Hour’s Worth of Progress

Shawn and I don’t get to play Diablo III together too often, but we like to when we can – even if it is only for a hour. When they left off, my Demon Hunter, ThirtySeven, and Shawn’s Barbarian, Smashez, were in Act III of Normal mode.

I think they were both at level 28. They didn’t get too much farther (due to the limited amount of time) but managed to run into some interesting monsters anyway.

The Little Wizard vs The Skeleton King

It’s been a long time since I played my little Wizard in Diablo III. Recently, I went through my stash in an effort to clear it out, and moved a bunch of “Wizard Only” stuff from the stash to my Wizard, Orlando’s, bag. I did the same with stuff for my little Monk, my little Demon Hunter, and my little Witch Doctor. Of course, the result was that I promptly filled up the stash with other stuff.

More from Playing in Hell on Easter Sunday

When I was putting together the Playing in Hell on Easter Sunday blog, I had the feeling that I’d taken more screenshots than what I had found. That suspicion has been confirmed. Sometimes, screenshots can get a bit scrambled up if you don’t clear everything out of that folder.

This means that there were some noteworthy things that I’d left out of the blog about my Barbarian, Zeta, playing in Hell difficulty on Easter Sunday. These screenshots are going to be out of chronological order, since they should have been shuffled into the previous blog. Seems I’m going to have to be a more active about clearing away old Diablo III screenshots from now own. Anyway, here’s what was missing. Just think of this blog post as a “bonus scene”.

Playing in Hell on Easter Sunday

Previously, my Barbarian, Zeta, had worked her way through Nightmare Mode (with some help from a friend), in an effort to go to Hell. After hearing so much about it, I was looking forward to the trip. Here are some highlights from the next part of Zeta’s adventure.

At level 50, and ready to begin Hell mode. My very first trip to Hell Mode just so happened to be on Easter Sunday.

Zeta Tries to Go to Hell

In a previous blog, I wrote about my Barbarian, Zeta, who was trying to finish Act IV of Nightmare Mode in Diablo III, in the hopes of being able to start Hell mode soon. She had reached level 49. I ended up having to stop playing before I reached a checkpoint (I prefer to stop right after hitting a checkpoint). Where would she end up when I next logged in? Here’s some highlights of her adventure.

It turned out that Zeta had been magically placed back in Bastion’s Keep. This wasn’t where I wanted her to be at, but it was safer than logging in and instantly being surrounded by demons. I used the checkpoint to go to Gardens of Hope 1st Tier, in the hopes of finding Tyrael. (I needed to finish his conversations for an Achievement).

ThirtySeven and Smashez are in Act III (Normal)

In the previous blog, my Demon Hunter, ThirtySeven, and Shawn’s Barbarian, Smashez, had hit level 27. They also finally completed Act II of Normal mode, and were ready to begin Act III. Their adventure continues!

ThirtySeven and Smashez start off on the Skycrown Battlements, working on lighting the Signal Beacons. Demons everywhere!

Zeta is in Act IV of Nightmare Mode!

In my last blog about the progress of my Barbarian, Zeta, she had managed to make her way through Act III of Nightmare Mode. She was at level 48 when she started Act IV. Here are the highlights of her adventure since then.

At first, I hadn’t realized that Zeta had finished Act III of Nightmare (although, the cinematic should have been a clue). She ran through the portal to the High Heavens, ready to continue the battle.

Fighting the Spider Woman

I’m making some progress with my Barbarian, Zeta. At the end of the last blog, Zeta was in Act III of Nightmare Mode, and was level 46. Here is what she encountered on her next adventure.

Zeta, and her Follower, Eirena the Enchantress, were in the process of battling through the quests that lead up to fighting Cydaea (the giant spider woman) in the Tower of the Damned.
