I’ve been using a very old keyboard for several years. I was having trouble getting it to work. Specifically, it wouldn’t do what it was supposed to do. This keyboard was dying, and it was making me extremely frustrated. As an example, the M key died, and I think a few other keys did as well.
It wasn’t something I was expecting to run into. And I gave up.
My husband tried to fix my extremely old keyboard. And he poked around with it and learned the M key had died. So, we went downtown to the Apple Store and bought a brand new keyboard.
The new keyboard has a key that has a circle on it. This was new to me. The circle key was enacted and I had to place my finger on it. It took several times to get that to work. In short, the circle key took an image of my fingerprint, and it slowly started filling in my fingerprint.
We brought the old keyboard to the Apple Store – where it could be recycled. Or, maybe turned into e-waste.
