My Experience in the WoW Classic Beta

This is Moosarella. (My husband came up with the name, and I thought it was amusing). It was exactly the type of name that would be good for a temporary character that would disappear when the beta ended.

I chose to play a Tauren Warrior, mostly because I spent “Vanilla” playing a Night Elf Hunter. At BlizzCon 2018, and afterward, I also played a Night Elf Hunter. It was time for some variety!

Season 17 (The Season of Nightmares) – Done With Chapter III

I’ve been working my way through the Season Journey in Season 17 – The Season of Nightmares. One cool thing about this Season is that players could scroll through the entire Season Journey and see every objective.

By the time I completed Chapter I and Chapter II, I had finished a big part of Chapter III. Having a clear idea of the progress I made, and what I still needed to do, really made a difference in my outlook.

Jen’s Lore Corner – Anu and the Dragon – Episode 014

Welcome to Jen’s Lore Corner, a podcast about the lore of the Diablo video game series. This podcast started as a segment on the Shattered Soulstone podcast. I decided to re-release those segments in their own podcast.

New content started with Episode 010.

In this episode, I talk about one of the oldest creation myths in Sanctuary – the story of Anu and the Dragon.

Most cultures, if not all of them, have their own creation myth. These myths are symbolic, and told in a narrative form. Often, the story connects to a group’s religious beliefs.

The story is about the creation of the world, and it explains how the people got there. Creation myths cannot be proven, because there are no artifacts, written history, or first-hand observers of the events in the story.

When it comes to the Diablo “universe”, however, some parts of their creation myths still linger. The first part of the story is about Anu and the Dragon.

My Pokédex – Johto Region

In February of 2017, Pokémon from the Johto Region in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games were added to Pokémon GO.

The main goal of Pokémon GO is: “Gotta catch ’em all!” I’m working on it. In this blog post, I have screenshots of all the Pokémon that I have obtained from the Johto Region.

My Pokédex – Kanto Region

Pokémon GO has one main goal: “Gotta catch ’em all!” I’ve been playing the game since shortly after it launched.

In this blog, I have a screenshot of all the Pokémon I’ve caught that are from the Kanto Region. I have not caught them all yet, but I’m working on it. There are a total of 151 Pokémon in the Kanto Region.

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man – by John Perkins

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man is a book that I’ve been meaning to read for a long time.

What was holding me back? I had the feeling that this book would make me very angry. What little I knew about it could be summarized as: corporations and corrupt government doing bad things in secret.

It is the kind of book that will make you into a pessimist (if you aren’t already one).

I read the version that was published in 2004. I hear there is a newer one out now. I’ve no idea how the two compare.

Season 17 (The Season of Nightmares) – to Level 70

This season, I decided to play a Hardcore Barbarian. In general, I find that leveling up while playing solo can be tedious. It can get pretty intense in Hardcore if you aren’t careful.

I completed my first goal – to hit Level 50. My next goal was to get my Barbarian to Level 70.
