The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs posted a VAntage Point blog titled “Tenth anniversary of the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. It was written by Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in the VA’s Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs, Kayla Williams. The blog was posted on September 20, 2021, the tenth anniversary of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”.

Biden Calls for an End to Housing Discrimination

On January 26, 2021, President Biden issued a “Memorandum on Redressing Our Nation’s and the Federal Government’s History of Discriminatory Housing Practices and Policies”. It was directed to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Biden’s choice for Secretary of HUD had yet to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
