Morris was offered some crackers as a treat. He sang a nice song to the crackers, and decided to chew on the napkin. Morris does not want a cracker right now.

Our lovely cockatiel Poke (also called Poquito) passed away today. She was 16 years old. She loved to explore and to find hiding places.

She will be missed by us and the rest of our flock of cockatiels.

Here is a short story I posted on Mastodon before posting it onto this blog. It is about what happened when the wind shut the door to the room the cockatiels are in.

I was having a really bad physical health day and was exhausted.  Morris flew down the hall, perched on my computer monitor, and kept me company. He usually has a short attention span, but today, he stayed put and got fluffy and comfy.
