After finishing the Slayer part of the Season Journey in Season 16, I decided to give Champion a try.

I streamed some of my progress on Twitch and put some the videos on YouTube. It felt like I was moving through the objectives slower than I wanted to, but I was having fun anyway.

My main goal for Season 16 was to complete the Season Journey up through Chapter IV and get the Wings of Lempo. What’s next?

My second goal is to finish enough of the Season Journey to unlock more non-Seasonal stash space. The first step towards that goal is to complete Slayer.

Season 16 of Diablo III was called Season of Grandeur because players benefited from the legendary power of the Ring of Royal Grandeur.

This ring reduces the number of items needed for set bonuses by 1 (to a minimum of 2). In short, it “unlocked” the set bonuses of every set, for every class, earlier than typical. Players did not need to actually have a Ring of Royal Grandeur in order to benefit from this buff.
