The U.S. Justice Department is asking the Supreme Court of the United States for an emergency halt to the Texas SB 8 law. The law prevents people who are pregnant from obtaining an abortion after six weeks of gestation. The conservative members of the United States Supreme Court chose to do absolutely nothing about a Texas abortion law. As a result, the law was allowed to go into effect. The Texas abortion law prohibits abortions after six weeks, which is before anyone with a uterus will have any idea that they are pregnant.

A Texas abortion law made its way to the Supreme Court of the United States.
