Goatherd Achievement (Season 2)

Season 2 of Diablo III is done and over with (and Season 3 is starting up). Before I jump into Season 3, I wanted to make use of the screenshots that I took during Season 2. My hard core Demon Hunter not only survived the Season, but also hit Level 70.

This blog is going to feature the highlights from the rest of what I did in Act III as I tried to earn the last Seasonal Monster Slaying Achievement for that Act. It will also show the first Paragon Levels I earned while in Act III.

The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on March 29, March 31, and April 4, 2015.

To Level 70! (Season 2)

Season 2 in Diablo III is now over and done with. I haven’t been able to keep up with the blogging about it very well, but I’ve only got a couple more to go. I figure it’s worth finishing up the series with the screenshots I have and the things I wanted to say about them.

My main goal for Season 2 was to get my hardcore Demon Hunter to Level 70. I am happy to announce that I managed to achieve that goal. Dusk the Demon Hunter hit Level 70 before Season 2 ended. The next set of goals I set for myself was to complete all the of remaining Seasonal Monster Slaying Achievements. The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on March 29, 2015.

Flight Rising: Cloudkeeper Herald

The Cloudkeeper Herald was the holiday Familiar for the Mistral Jamboree 2015.  The event took place at the end of March, and the beginning of April, 2015.   The Mistral Jamboree was connected to the Wind Flight.

The easiest way to obtain a holiday Familiar is to get it while the event is going on.  Gather up the right amount of the special holiday currency and use it to by yourself a brand new Familiar. Those that did not obtain it might find some on the Auction House (for very high prices).

Assisting Captain Haile (Season 2)

Season 2 of Diablo III is going to disappear in just a few days. I’ve been trying to keep up with blogging about my experience in Season 2 before it ended. However, I’ve fallen a little behind, so I might have a blog or two that will appear after Season 2 ends.

My main goal for Season 2 was to get my hard core Demon Hunter to Level 70. As I was leveling, I tried to get as many of the Seasonal Monster Slaying Achievements as I could. Right now, it doesn’t look like I will have time to get all of them before Season 2 ends.  The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on March 26 and March 27, 2015.

Other Video Games, Zynga 10 comments on ChefVille is Shutting Down!

ChefVille is Shutting Down!

Zynga has announced that their ChefVille game will be shutting down, forever, on April 30, 2015. It was a game where players could create virtual food by gathering up the correct ingredients and using the stove that contained that recipe.

I can’t explain why I thought this game was fun, other than to say that as someone who has a lot of food allergies, there is something about playing with virtual food that I found appealing. I started playing ChefVille after I quit Facebook and no longer had access to Zynga’s CafeVille game. I’d been playing ChefVille on the Zynga website, and it is kind of a bummer that the game will soon disappear.
