In this video, my Hardcore Barbarian worked on what I think of as “chores”. It includes the some of the most tedious objectives in the Season Journey. They aren’t difficult; they just take up time.Continue Reading “Season 19: Chores”
Earlier this year, I wrote a blog post called Always at the Doctor’s Office because it seemed like I had been spending an increasing amount of time there.
That blog post covered January to the end of May of 2019. This blog picks up where the first one left off. The main reason I am writing this is to track how often I go to the doctor, as well as how sick I had become before going to one.Continue Reading “Still Always at the Doctor’s Office”
In this video, my Hardcore Barbarian was at Level 19. I needed to complete a set of Act V Bounties as part of the Season Journey. This batch of Bounties included Malthael, which I usually skip if I’m playing Hardcore.
Instead, I decided to just go for it. What’s the worst that could happen?Continue Reading “Season 19: Act V Bounties with Malthael”
Neko Atsume is a game where the goal is to find a way to attract all of the virtual cats to come to your yard/home. The way to do that is to put out different items, and see what happens.
The Colorful Sock is one of three Socks that players can purchase. It costs 15 gold fish in the Neko Atsume Store. To me, it looks like a Christmas stocking.Continue Reading “Neko Atsume: Colorful Sock”
Technically, President Nixon (Republican) was not impeached. The reason is because he resigned from office on August 9, 1974. His decision to resign happened after the House Judiciary Committee voted on, and passed, three articles of impeachment, but before the U.S. House of Representatives could hold a vote.
It is the outcome of the House vote on articles of impeachment that determine whether or not a President has been impeached. The Senate then holds a trial. The outcome of the Senate trial does not erase that a president has been impeached. Perhaps Nixon resigned in an effort to avoid going down in history as an impeached president.Continue Reading “The (Almost) Impeachment of President Richard Nixon”
According to the U.S. House of Representatives website, three United States Presidents have been impeached. (One additional president resigned shortly before he would have been impeached.) Impeachment starts with the House doing an investigation, and based on the evidence, comes up with one or more articles of impeachment.
Each individual article must be voted on separately. If any articles of impeachment receive a majority of votes, then the President has officially been impeached. Of course, it is possible for the House to give a majority of votes to more than one article.Continue Reading “The Impeachment of President Andrew Johnson”
In this video, my hardcore Barbarian started out at Level 10. My goal was to see how much I could complete in the Season Journey with a character that had not yet hit Level 50.
I was able to kill off Izual and Rakanoth on Normal difficulty. Doing so completed two objectives in Chapter I.Continue Reading “Season 19: Izual, Rakanoth, and Kanai’s Cube”
Classic WoW requires players to do a lot of running around. Mounts are scarce – and expensive. A friend of mine and I were playing the game and “hoofing it” together.Continue Reading “WoW Classic: Pineapple Wallpaper”
Among the Chapter I objectives in Diablo III is one that requires players to complete a set of five Bounties. It doesn’t matter which act the player chooses to work on.Continue Reading “Season 19: Lucky Bounties”
Calvin Moretti dropped out of college and has returned to his parent’s home. He has student loan debt that he must be find a way to pay off. So, he gets a job in something completely unrelated to what he went to college for.

The story is fiction, but feels like something that many families have lived through.Continue Reading “The Sleepy Hollow Family Almanac – by Kris D’Agostino”
