Doctor Appointments, Out of Spoons

Still Always at the Doctor’s Office

Earlier this year, I wrote a blog post called Always at the Doctor’s Office because it seemed like I had been spending an increasing amount of time there.

That blog post covered January to the end of May of 2019. This blog picks up where the first one left off. The main reason I am writing this is to track how often I go to the doctor, as well as how sick I had become before going to one.

Season 19: Act V Bounties with Malthael

In this video, my Hardcore Barbarian was at Level 19. I needed to complete a set of Act V Bounties as part of the Season Journey. This batch of Bounties included Malthael, which I usually skip if I’m playing Hardcore.

Instead, I decided to just go for it. What’s the worst that could happen?

Neko Atsume: Colorful Sock

Neko Atsume is a game where the goal is to find a way to attract all of the virtual cats to come to your yard/home. The way to do that is to put out different items, and see what happens.

The Colorful Sock is one of three Socks that players can purchase. It costs 15 gold fish in the Neko Atsume Store. To me, it looks like a Christmas stocking.

The (Almost) Impeachment of President Richard Nixon

Technically, President Nixon (Republican) was not impeached. The reason is because he resigned from office on August 9, 1974. His decision to resign happened after the House Judiciary Committee voted on, and passed, three articles of impeachment, but before the U.S. House of Representatives could hold a vote.

It is the outcome of the House vote on articles of impeachment that determine whether or not a President has been impeached. The Senate then holds a trial. The outcome of the Senate trial does not erase that a president has been impeached. Perhaps Nixon resigned in an effort to avoid going down in history as an impeached president.

The Impeachment of President Andrew Johnson

According to the U.S. House of Representatives website, three United States Presidents have been impeached. (One additional president resigned shortly before he would have been impeached.) Impeachment starts with the House doing an investigation, and based on the evidence, comes up with one or more articles of impeachment.

Each individual article must be voted on separately. If any articles of impeachment receive a majority of votes, then the President has officially been impeached. Of course, it is possible for the House to give a majority of votes to more than one article.

Season 19: Izual, Rakanoth, and Kanai’s Cube

In this video, my hardcore Barbarian started out at Level 10. My goal was to see how much I could complete in the Season Journey with a character that had not yet hit Level 50.

I was able to kill off Izual and Rakanoth on Normal difficulty. Doing so completed two objectives in Chapter I.
