Justice Department Asks SCOTUS to Halt Texas Abortion Law

The U.S. Justice Department is asking the Supreme Court of the United States for an emergency halt to the Texas SB 8 law. The law prevents people who are pregnant from obtaining an abortion after six weeks of gestation. Pregnancy is measured from the first day of a person’s last menstrual cycle and before many people realize that they are pregnant.

HUD Continues to Fight Housing Discrimination

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is tasked with many things regarding housing, rental assistance, and fairness. The Department makes an effort to prevent housing discrimination. They fight for the rights of people who are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, and/or parents to not be discriminated against when searching for housing.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp: Haunted Scavenger Hunt

My Pocket Camp character wears a cat Halloween costume. They stand near the collection of Haunted Scavenger Hunt items.

The Haunted Scavenger Hunt followed the Fishing Tourney (Goldfish), which came after Isabelle’s Creek Cooldown. Both of those events fit together well, because they both had something to do with water. The Haunted Scavenger Hunt, however, didn’t match. To me, it felt like maybe it was originally intended to be a Halloween event.

As you may have guessed, the Committee’s main purpose is to investigate the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol. This committee is also referred to as the “Select Committee”.
