Little Pieces – Episode 070

Words of Jen is written in cursive writing. There are large numbers below it that say 1997. It looks like something a bored student would create.

For NaPodPoMo 2021, I decided to do something different than I’ve done in the past. Each episode I release in November of this year include pieces of an old, hand-written journal which I had to create as part of my student teaching experience in 1997.

I read “Little Pieces” on Episode 070 of Words of Jen (the 1997 series).

Student Teaching Meeting- Episode 069

A hand drawn logo says "Words of Jen" in cursive. Below it is large numbers that are hand drawn. It looks like something a student would have drawn while bored back in 1997.

How a Washer and Dryer Changed Our Lives

I wrote this piece on February 2, 2013, on a blog that no longer exists.  Shawn and I received a brand new washer and dryer as a gift from his mother.  It surprised me how much having access to a washer and dryer changed our lives.

I read “How a Washer and Dryer Changed Our Lives” in episode 063 of my Words of Jen podcast.
