Back in October of 2014, the big thing in the news was that the nude photos of celebrities had been stolen from “the cloud” and distributed online without permission. All of the photos were of female celebrities.

I wrote this in early October of 2014, in response to something that was being talked about in the news. Several celebrities – all female – had their nude photos stolen and distributed without their permission. Here are my thoughts about that situation.

Many places have a Taco Tuesday discount once a week. People can go in and get a tasty, inexpensive meal, and the restaurant makes a lot of money on a weekday evening. Taco Tuesday can be relaxing.

I wrote “Taco Tuesday” in 2012. It tells the story of what happened when Shawn and I went to get tacos at a local place that sells them at a discount on Tuesdays.

In this episode, I read a poem that I wrote in 2016. It is based on something that happened on Twitter. I think there are many women out there (and possibly some men) who have had the same, unfortunate, annoying, experience as I did.

This poem was written in 2016 about an unwanted “discussion” (for lack of a better word) that I got pulled into online. I had retweeted something that was both political and about women’s access to health care.
Somehow, this was enough to inspire a guy whom I only vaguely knew to flood my Twitter feed with angry, “mansplaining” comments. I’m quite certain that other women have had the same, draining, frustrating experience that I did.

I wrote “How a Telemarketing Company Got Rid of Cheaters” in February of 2015, on a website that no longer exists. It was a website that paid writers based on a confusing mix of page-clicks and ad revenue.
At the time I wrote this piece, the website was having a gigantic problem with plagiarizers who stole other people’s work (from both outside and inside the website) and expected to be paid for it. This was my response – a gigantic “subtweet” – to the plagiarizers and the website itself.
