When I finished the Children’s Week quests with the Human orphan child, my next step was to go to Shattrath and start those Children’s Week quests. This portion of the Children’s Week quests was completely new to me. The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on May 3, 2012.

Fun with Children’s Week
The part I had the most fun with this year involved part of the “Bad Example” achievement. In previous Children’s weeks, I’d managed to eat ice cream and a tasty cupcake in front of my orphan, (without offering him any).
The only food Zoeiei was high enough level to eat was the Delicious Chocolate Cake. Medros was kind enough to offer to make one for me. I just so happened to have some small eggs in my bag, which I gave to him. Here is Hansbrix, dancing to amuse me, while I was waiting for Medros to gather up a few more ingredients for the Delicious Chocolate Cake.

Diablo III: The Order by Nate Kenyon
Diablo III: The Order was written by Nate Kenyon. It is the first book that was written with a connection to the Diablo III game. This is not the first time that Nate Kenyon has written for Blizzard. He is also the author of Starcraft Ghost: Specters. However, Diablo III: The Order is his first foray into the Diablo universe, and, in my opinion, he gets it exactly right.
The beta for Diablo III has long since ended, (and I miss it so!) When I first heard that the title of this book was “The Order”, it immediately brought to mind the NPC (non-player character) follower called The Templar. Those of you were in the beta, or who jumped in on the open beta weekend, probably played far enough into the beta to find him. You quickly learn that his name is Kormac, and he has quite a bit to say about “The Order”. Initially, I though this new Diablo book would be about his background.
Traumatic Chopper Ride
Here is my main, Zoeiei. She is a level 66 Elemental Shaman. In a previous Children’s week, she picked up a cute piggy named Mr. Wiggles.
Let’s see what’s going on this year for Children’s Week. The screenshots that you see in this blog were taken on May 2, 2012.
