Late last night, or early this morning (depending on your perspective), Shawn and I had time to play some Diablo III together. I was playing my level 23 Demon Hunter, ThirtySeven, and Shawn was playing his level 23 Barbarian, Smashez. Our adventure took a very unexpected turn a little bit before midnight!
We are in Act II in Normal Mode. We found some interesting monsters to kill.
In my previous blog, I described how I finally got my Barbarian, Zeta, into Nightmare Mode of Diablo III. Sadly, the server went down not too long after I started playing. Undaunted, I waited fifteen minutes and attempted to log back in. It worked! Here are some highlights from Zeta’s first (real) adventure in Nightmare mode.
The server placed me at the very beginning of the dungeon I was desperately running through, in an effort to reach the Checkpoint before the server crashed. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised by this.
This month, I have been incredibly busy writing. Freelance tends to be a constant fluctuation between “feast or famine”. October has been the biggest feast yet. This morning, I finally had the opportunity to take my Barbarian, Zeta, into Nightmare mode of Diablo III.
I fully expected to get my head chopped off, and handed back to me, shortly after going in. Instead, it turned out that there were demons of a technical nature that were the first things to slay me. When I went to log in, I noticed some “Breaking News”:
