Flight Rising: Sun Flecked Achievement and Dappled Achievement

Flight Rising has many breeding achievements. Pair two of your dragons in the Nesting Grounds. Cross your fingers, and hope. There is a chance that the dragons might produce a baby that has a “special” gene. That’s basically how it works.

Of course, the babies can’t have a particular “special” gene if neither of the parents have it. Even then, it is a bit of a gamble – and that makes things more exciting. I have earned the Sun Flecked Achievement and the Dappled Achievement from one nest of dragon eggs. All of the artwork in this post is copyright of Flight Rising.

Flight Rising: Level 9 Dragons

One of the things you can do with your dragons in Flight Rising is take them to the Coliseum and let them battle. You can choose to battle against the dragons of other players, or you can have them fight against monsters in a non-player character (NPC) battle.

So far, I’ve stuck with playing against “the computer”. My goal is to get at least one of my dragons to level 10. That hasn’t happened yet, but I did earn the Warrior Achievement. All of the artwork in this post is copyright of Flight Rising.

The Chosen – by Chaim Potok

The Chosen by Chaim Potok is a book that my brother recommended I read. There are very few books that he likes enough to recommend them to me. So far, each of the books he has suggested to me, over the years, have been incredibly compelling.

Typically, my brother chooses books that fit squarely into the fantasy genre. The Chosen, however, has no fantasy elements.

It focuses on two Jewish boys live in the same neighborhood. Both boys play baseball. My brother is not Jewish, and doesn’t care much about sports. Despite this, he liked The Chosen, possibly because the book has a deep story with a lot of social complexity running through it.

Flight Rising: Getting a Little Cramped Achievement

Flight Rising is a game that is primarily about managing your Lair of dragons. There are also a bunch of fun achievements that you can earn. One of them is called “Getting a Little Cramped”. This is an achievement that you will, eventually, earn over time.
