I wrote this in December of 2016, on a Tumblr account that no longer exists. At the time, I was using Tumblr as a place to put random writing that didn’t quite “fit” on my real blog.
I read “Conflicted” in episode 15 of my Words of Jen podcast.

I wrote this in December of 2016, after learning about a controversy that simply didn’t need to happen. The United Nations designated Wonder Woman as an Honorary Ambassador. This caused some people to create a petition in an effort to push the United Nations to reconsider that choice.
I read “Wonder Woman and the United Nations” in episode 14 of my Words of Jen podcast.
In late August of 2016, there were people talking on social media about the horrible advice that some guy was giving to men. He encouraged them to harass women who were wearing headphones, until the woman took them off.
I read “Stop Bothering Women Who are Wearing Headphones!” in episode 13 of Words of Jen.

In July of 2015, my Mac computer broke due to a “known issue” that happened just after the warrantee expired. This was problematic, because I am a writer who makes her money by posting writing on the internet. The situation was one in a long chain of frustrations.

I used to have the type of Mac computer that had a “known issue” that caused it to stop functioning. This was problematic, because I am a writer by trade, and I can’t make money on a computer that has broken down.
I wrote this piece in July of 2015. I read “Two Steps Forward, One Step Back”, in episode 11 of my Words of Jen podcast.
Back in October of 2014, the big thing in the news was that the nude photos of celebrities had been stolen from “the cloud” and distributed online without permission. All of the photos were of female celebrities.
I read “It’s Not About the Photos” on episode 10 of Words of Jen.
