This blog is part of the series I’ve been putting together about my progress through Season 1 of Diablo III.  My main goals were: to hit Level 70, to get through all of the story content, and to get as many achievements as possible.  As such, it seemed to me that the best way to organize these blogs was Act by Act.

The previous blogs showed the progress of Gurr the Barbarian as he went through Act III (on Normal difficultly) for the first time.  He kept moving forward, but took time out to go back to Act III and help out his buddy, Qiz the Monk.  (It is pronounced “Cheese”).  The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on September 20, 2014, and September 21, 2014.

This blog is part of the series I am doing about my progress through Season 1 of Diablo III.  I started this Season with a brand new Barbarian named Gurr.  There are some Leaderboards in the game, but I didn’t honestly expect to be on any of them.

Instead, I am using the blogs I make about Season 1 as my way of showing what I accomplished.  If I end up doing another Season, it will be these blogs I compare my progress to.

Previously, I made a blog about Gurr the Barbarian’s experience through Act III in Story Mode (Normal Difficulty).  I showed the Legendary loot he found, the levels he earned, and the monsters he fought.  In this one, I’m going to focus on the Achievements he earned during his first trip through Act III.  The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on September 4, 2014, and September 5, 2014.

This is part of the series I am doing that shows my progress through Season 1 of Diablo III. I rolled a Barbarian and named him Gurr. I started out with two goals – to get through all the Story Mode content and to hit Level 70. If I managed to do that before Season 1 ended, my plan was to come up with new goals.

This blog shows the adventure of Gurr the Barbarian as he went through Act III for the first time. He was in Story Mode and in Normal Difficulty. I figured that if there was time I could always re-do Story Mode at a harder difficulty. The screenshots you see in this blog are from September 4, 2014, and September 5, 2014.

This blog is part of the series I am doing that shows my progress through Season 1 in Diablo III. I’m not entirely certain that I will do another Season, so it seemed like a good idea to blog about this one. If I end up doing another Season, someday, these blogs will be what I compare my progress to.

The previous two blogs were about progress made, and Achievements earned, in Act II by my seasonal character. Gurr the Barbarian went all the way through Act II in Story Mode (Normal difficultly) by himself. Then, he returned to help his buddy Qiz through it. Qiz is my husband Shawn’s Seasonal character. He is a Monk – so the first part of his name is Qi. It is pronounced “Chee”. The Z on the end means his name is pronounced “Cheese”.

The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on September 13, 2014 and September 20, 2014. There is a “gap” between when Gurr the Barbarian was last in Act II and his return, so this isn’t exactly in chronological order.

This blog is part of the series I am putting together about my experiences in Season 1 of Diablo III. It is my way of keeping a record of my progress and making my own, personal, Leaderboard (of sorts). If I do another season, I will compare my progress to how I did during Season 1.

In this blog, I focus on the Achievements that Gurr the Barbarian got as he worked his way through Act II. For his first run through, I put him in Story Mode and Normal difficulty. This blog is part of my series about the progress I made in Season 1.  My Seasonal character is Gurr, the Barbarian.  I wasn’t sure how much time I would have to play or how far I would get through the game with Gurr. These blogs are my way of creating my own, personal, leaderboard for Season 1.  At the beginning of Season 1, and at the time I am putting together this blog, there is no way to know when Season 1 will end.

In this blog, you will find out what Legendary items Gurr obtained in Act II.  I should point out I was playing on Normal difficulty for my first run through the story content.  I figured that if there was time later I could always go through it again at higher difficulty level. This blog is part of the series I am doing about my progress through Season 1 in Diablo III.  I have no idea if I will do another Season, so it seemed like a good idea to go ahead and make lots of blogs about this one.   There are Leaderboards in the game, but I doubt I’ll be on any of them. These blogs are my own, personal, Leaderboard.  If I end up doing another Season, I will use these blogs to help me figure out if I do better, or worse, in Season 2 than I did in Season 1.

The previous two blogs were about the progress that my Barbarian, Gurr, made through Act 1.  I started out with Shawn and his Monk, Qiz.  (Qi is pronounced “Chee”.  The Z on the end means that Shawn’s Monk is named “Cheese”.)

I ended up playing more than Shawn did, so things got a little out of order.  The easiest way to explain it is that Gurr had moved on to Act II (or maybe beyond) and then went back to Act I to kill demons with Qiz.

I’ve decided to do a series of blogs about my progress through the very first Season in Diablo III.  This one is about all the Achievements that Gurr the Barbarian got in his adventure through Act 1 of Story Mode (on Normal Difficulty).  There is a Leaderboard that has to do with Achievements.  I doubt I will get on it, so I’m making my own personal version of it here.

On August 29, 2014, Diablo III did something that made many players really excited. They released the very first Season! I quickly rolled a male Barbarian named Gurr and started playing. If you know what a Ladder is, then you pretty much have the idea of what a Season is.

A Season lasts for a certain amount of time. There are special Achievements, loot, Legendary items, and other stuff involved with it. I decided to push myself to do as much as I can in this very first Season. Ideally, I want to make blogs about the progress I made each day. Yesterday, I managed to get through all of Act I in one session – something I’d never done before.  The screenshots you see in this blog are from August 29, 2014, and the wee morning hours of August 30, 2014.
