Before you jump into this blog post, you may want to read Part One and Part Two.

In 2018, the Democratic Party became the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. The 116th Congress started on January 3, 2019.

The Democrats set out to stop the GOP from destroying Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, and other health care that is affordable for low-income and marginalized people.

Unfortunately, the GOP still had the majority in the U.S. Senate, and President Trump, a Republican, was still President of the United States. As such, the shenanigans continued.

This is part two of my series of blogs about the ways that the GOP, under President Trump, attempted to destroy Obamacare. You may want to read part one before jumping into this blog post.

Season 16 (Season of Grandeur) – Slayer

My main goal for Season 16 was to complete the Season Journey up through Chapter IV and get the Wings of Lempo. What’s next?

My second goal is to finish enough of the Season Journey to unlock more non-Seasonal stash space. The first step towards that goal is to complete Slayer.

Photo by Element5 Digital from Pexels

The Electoral College plays a role in the selection of the next president of the United States. On Black Winds We Rise (No Gods Before Us) – by Tom McNellis

On Black Winds We Rise is the first book in the No Gods Before Us series. It is a fantasy series with a very rich world filled with a wide variety of peoples.

The story is set in 1000 BC on an alternate Earth. It starts in Aegyptus, and later moves to Hibernia. Things are not always what they seem to be in this world, and there are some extremely creepy parts in this book.

They Were Both Pregnant – Episode 046

In this episode, I read a piece of my writing that I wrote on July 28, 2015, on a Tumblr blog that no longer exists. The events in it took place decades ago, when I was in middle school.

This is a story about what happens when teenage girls do not have access to birth control. It is based on my memory of actual events.

I read “They Were Both Pregnant” on episode 046 of Words of Jen.

If you enjoyed this episode please consider supporting me on Ko-fi. Thank you!

Kitchen Scramble App – Albuqueso

Albuqueso is the tenth town in the Kitchen Scramble game. The recipes in this town resemble foods made in Mexico and South American countries.

Pepper (the player character) had been offered the job of teaching International Cuisine next semester at Chef Academy. She needs to learn more international recipes before she can get the job.

Albuqueso requires players to learn several new recipes.

Johanna Basford 2019 Coloring Calendar – February

Coloring is relaxing. A friend gave me the Johanna Basford 2019 coloring calendar as a Christmas present. I am really enjoying it!

I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands (among other places). I’ve heard it is good to keep my hands and fingers active. Coloring is a good way to do that.
