I started off Season 18 fairly early, but not on the first night it opened. Unfortunately, I was unable to create much content from it due to technical difficulties and chronic illness getting in the way.
Much of my time was spent playing Classic WoW with a friend. By the time I decided to focus on Season 18, it was nearly over. I didn’t get very far in the Season Journey this time around.

Diablo IV takes place many years after the events in the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion. Millions have been slaughtered. Some people (who are part demon and part angel) are still there – trying to survive. It is only a matter of time before an opportunistic and powerful being steps in to take control of it.
Diablo IV: By Three They Come was released at BlizzCon 2019. It provides an intense, and terrifying, look at what to expect in Diablo IV. (At the time I am writing this blog post, Diablo IV has not yet been released.)

The lore of the Diablo series of video games and books makes it clear that there are Demons that originate in the Burning Hells. While many are minions, there are seven of them that are noteworthy.
The three Prime Evils and the four Lesser Evils are constantly battling with each other in an effort to take over more land and minions. Each one wants to become the most powerful Lord of the Burning Hells.
Here is a brief look at who each of these very important demons are.

In a previous blog post about Season 18 of Diablo III, I mentioned that I was struggling to stream on Twitch. Part of the problem is that I use a Mac, which requires additional software “workarounds” if I want to stream.
I don’t always have the energy to stream, and having to fight with Twitch before I can even start is discouraging. Fortunately, there are other ways to record my game play and to make videos of it.

Once in a while, a Nephalem Rift will have a cow level. The first time I experienced this event was in 2016, and the screenshots you see in this blog are from then.
The cow level that can appear in a Nephalem Rift is separate from the Not the Cow Level event that was in Diablo III in 2015.

The theme for Season 18 of Diablo III is: The Season of the Triune. It began on August 23, 2019. I’m playing a Hardcore Barbarian (again) because the “free set” is The Legacy of Raekor and I haven’t spent much time using it.
My intent was to stream my progress through Season 18, every day, if possible. Unfortunately, the stream I did on Twitch this morning lagged terribly and was so unusable that I decided to delete it.
