After finishing the Slayer part of the Season Journey in Season 16, I decided to give Champion a try.
I streamed some of my progress on Twitch and put some the videos on YouTube. It felt like I was moving through the objectives slower than I wanted to, but I was having fun anyway.

Kala is an NPC (non-player character) that stands on the edge of The Hidden Camp, overlooking Caldeum. Players probably won’t notice Kala unless they are playing through story-mode and talking to all the NPCs.
Her story is told in pieces. Players need to return to The Hidden Camp, and talk to Kala, several times to hear everything she has to say.

My main goal for Season 16 was to complete the Season Journey up through Chapter IV and get the Wings of Lempo. What’s next?
My second goal is to finish enough of the Season Journey to unlock more non-Seasonal stash space. The first step towards that goal is to complete Slayer.

King Kanai is an NPC (non-player character) in Diablo III. If you have ever taken one of your characters to obtain Kanai’s Cube, you have seen Kanai’s ghost appear and point at the Cube.
But, who was King Kanai? There’s plenty of lore about him in the Diablo III game, and some additional information about the inspiration for the character that is presented outside of the game.

This is Galthrak the Unhinged. I got this pet from a Menagerist Goblin in between Season 11 and Season 12.
The flavor text on Galthrak the Unhinged says: From the time he was a broodling, all he wanted was to be a Rift Guardian. He studied for many years, but was ultimately found wanting. Take him on a rift with you, and he’ll be happy.

Season 16 of Diablo III was called Season of Grandeur because players benefited from the legendary power of the Ring of Royal Grandeur.
This ring reduces the number of items needed for set bonuses by 1 (to a minimum of 2). In short, it “unlocked” the set bonuses of every set, for every class, earlier than typical. Players did not need to actually have a Ring of Royal Grandeur in order to benefit from this buff.

If you are playing the female Demon Hunter in Diablo III as your character, there is reason to believe that she might be Valla.
So, who is Valla? According to the Diablo Wiki, Valla was born around 1265 (in the “Diablo universe” timeline). She was born around the time that connects to the Diablo II game.
Sometime later, Valla’s younger sister, Halissa, was born. The sisters were close. At least one, if not both, of the girls parents were sawyers – people who sawed timber for a living.
Season 15 was the Boon of the Horadrim season. It gave players extra stuff for completing Bounties. It also had the Rathma’s set as the “freebie” for Necromancers. Those who finished Chapter IV got a creepy hand pet.
In this blog post, I have a quick look at the progress I made through Season 15. Overall, I wish I could have spent more time playing than I did. But, I’m not unhappy with how things worked out.
