I started working on the Flight Rising Legacy Challenge in March of 2014. It took me until January of 2015 to complete it. Part of the reason it took so long had to do with the “cooldown” timing that governs when dragons are able to breed. The rest was due to me deciding to hold off on breeding dragons because I was too busy that week in real life.

The amount of time it took to finish this challenge gave me the opportunity to really think about it. I’ve decided to share what I’ve learned from doing the Flight Rising Legacy Challenge.  Your experience may vary, but perhaps some of this will help you. Flight Rising is a game where you get to manage a Lair that is filled with dragons.  One of the many things you can do with your dragons is breed them. The Flight Rising Legacy Challenge is a ten generation breeding challenge.  You start with a ungened plentiful dragon and hope to end with an attractive triple gened dragon.

I am very happy that I have now finished the challenge.  It wasn’t incredibly difficult, but it did take more time than I anticipated (mostly due to waiting for a pair of dragons to sync up and be able to breed). All of the artwork in this post is copyright of Flight Rising.

It is a ten generation breeding challenge with specific rules and limitations. The goal is to end up with an attractive triple gened dragon at the end of the challenge.

I’ve been working my way through the Flight Rising Legacy Challenge. It is a ten generation breeding challenge that has specific rules and limitations that must be followed. Ideally, you end up with an attractive triple gened dragon at the end of the challenge.

I’m getting close to the end of the challenge, and intend to finish it. The challenge takes a long time to complete, in part due to the time it takes for the dragons to grow up and be ready to breed. The Flight Rising Legacy Challenge is a 10 generation breeding challenge. You start out with an ungened starter dragon. Then, you find a mate for that dragon (following specific rules and limitations). Breed those two dragons. The idea is to end up with an attractive triple gened dragon by the end of the Challenge.

The Flight Rising Legacy Challenge is a 10 generation breeding challenge. You begin with an ungened starter dragon. Next, you purchase a mate for that dragon and start the challenge. The goal is to end up with an attractive triple gened dragon.

When I started this challenge, I had absolutely no idea how long it would take! It’s been kind of tedious to go through the same steps, and follow the same rules, for each new generation. The biggest problem is that some breeds of dragons take longer than others to be ready for the Breeding Ground.

The Flight Rising Legacy Challenge is a 10 generation breeding challenge. To begin, you must purchase an ungened starter dragon. The goal is to end up with an attractive triple gened dragon at the end of the Challenge.

There are specific rules and limitations that you have to adhere to as you do the Challenge. In short, your first pair of dragons spawn the second generation. The first baby born becomes the heir, and grows up to be the founder of the second generation. And so on, and so on, and so on…
