Flight Rising: Ice Egg Achievement

There are several Breeding Achievements in Flight Rising. Some of them involve hatching dragons that have a specific gene. The rest require players to obtain a certain type of Unhatched Egg.

It’s fun to see what kind of dragon comes out of the egg. The interesting part is that the dragon will officially have no parents (just like starter dragons have no parents). That means the dragon, once grown up, can be breed with any dragon in your Lair.

The Dwarves Explore Western Plaguelands – Part 1

The Dwarves are Hansbrix the Hunter (and his pet bear, Fridge) and Bradanna the Priest.  My husband and I had been playing these two characters together, completing parts of Azeroth zone by zone.  There are things that we missed out on the first time we played (other characters) through some of the Cataclysm content.

In this blog, I will feature the most interesting parts of The Dwarves trip through Western Plaguelands. The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on May 25,  June 6, June 7, June 9, and June 10, 2015.

Johanna Basford Coloring Calendar – March 2018

I’ve been working my way through the pages of the 2018 Johanna Basford Coloring Calendar.  A friend of mine bought it for me for Christmas, and I’m really enjoying it.

Coloring is a good way to reduce stress. It’s also helpful for my rheumatoid arthritis, which is in my hands (among other places). I think the idea is to keep my hands moving. Here are the coloring pages from March of 2018.

Flight Rising is a browser-based game where players control a Lair full of dragons. There are many things that player can do with their dragons – including dress them up in aestheticaly interesting outfits.

Tiny Little Things

The pollen count today is 8.1 and I am miserable. We are about a week or so into the Fall 2018 pollen season now. It has a cumulative effect, and there is absolutely no way to know how long this pollen season will last.

There are times when I think that maybe I’ll be able to work and make enough money to not need to try and get on Social Security Disability. And then, nature tries to kill me, and makes the rest of my chronic illnesses worse. I am struggling.

The problem is… my freelance writing work might actually make it even more difficult for me to get approved for Disability. Again.

Kitchen Scramble App: Chef Academy

Chef Academy is the name of the fourth town in the Kitchen Scramble game. The game requires the player to make recipes and serve food to customers. It is a time-management game.

I’ve been posting quite a few blogs about Kitchen Scramble lately. There is a reason. I’ve noticed that the Kitchen Scramble app has been crashing a lot, and that there has been an increased emphasis on the ways players can spend real-world money on the game. I’m not sure how long it will be around.

Faceless – by Matthew Rossi

Faceless is the third book in the Nameless series. You should read Nameless and Heartless before starting this book.

As in the previous books, Faceless revolves around a magical family of cousins (and their significant others).  All of them are young people, and most are starting to put together a framework of how they think they want the rest of their lives to work out.

To me, one of the things that this book is about is that the choices people make – out of love, or fear, or desperation – have consequences. What happens as a result can affect not only the person who made a choice, but also the lives of other people. It’s a important piece of wisdom that some people do not learn until after they have destroyed something or someone they love.

Kitchen Scramble App: Mozzaroma

Kitchen Scramble is a time-management game where you play a character that runs a food truck. Every level requires players to make and serve specific foods to customers. In Mozzaroma, the customers want Italian foods.

Mozzaroma is the third town in the Kitchen Scramble game. I like to try and get three stars on every level.
