Johanna Basford Coloring Calendar – December

I’ve been having a fun time coloring all the pages in the Johanna Basford 2018 coloring calendar. Unfortunately, due to my chronic illnesses, I was entirely unable to keep up with it.

As such, I stopped somewhere in the middle of May, and skipped ahead to the December pages. My hope was that I would get through those before 2018 ended. After that, I will go back and color the pages I missed because, as I said, coloring is fun.

Spook – by Mary Roach

Mary Roach is the author of Stiff – the Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. After writing about what happens to the human body after the person dies, it seems appropriate to write a book about what happens to the human soul after the body dies. Spook – Science Tackles the Afterlife was written in 2005.

In my opinion, the best way to read Spook is to set aside whatever religious ideas you may have about the afterlife.  Go into this book with an open mind and you will definitely learn something about human nature.

My Thoughts About World of Warcraft Classic

I was fortunate enough to attend Blizzcon 2018. One of the (many) demo games that was available for people to try was World of Warcraft Classic. I wanted to share my thoughts about it before I forgot what I intended to say.

The screenshots you see in this blog were obviously NOT taken while I was at BlizzCon. I had time to play the World of Warcraft Classic demo after returning home from BlizzCon. These screenshots were taken on my computer after BlizzCon 2018 was over.

Someone Posted a Dick Pic – Episode 043

In this episode, I read a piece of my writing that I wrote in 2015, on a Tumblr blog that no longer exists. It is about a website called Twenty20 that I was participating in at the time. It is entirely possible that things have changed on that photography website between now and when I wrote this piece.

This piece of writing is not safe for work.

I read “Someone Posted a Dick Pic” on Episode 043 of Words of Jen.

Someone Posted a Dick Pic

I wrote this piece on July 23, 2015, on a Tumblr blog that no longer exists. At the time, I was participating in a photo website called Twenty20. It is entirely possible that things have changed on that website between now and when I wrote this piece.

My experience there was largely disappointing, and I ended up pulling all my photos off of the site and closing my account. The thing that made me realize that Twenty20 was not for me was when someone posted a Dick Pic.

I read “Someone Posted a Dick Pic” on episode 043 of Words of Jen.
