In my previous Diablo III blog, I went over a little bit about my first experiences with Monster Power. It put in screenshots of how it went with my Demon Hunter, my Barbarian, and even one screenshot of my little bitty Monk.

I also tried out Monster Power with my little Wizard, Orlando. He started off as level six, so he was obviously still in Act I of Normal mode. I selected Monster Power 1 for him, and went right back to the Crypts in the Cemetery of the Forsaken. Here’s some of the highlights of his adventure.

As usual, I haven’t had a whole lot of time to play Diablo lately. Thanksgiving was spent at a relative’s house (and it was fun). We had a relative’s birthday to attend to a few days later (and it was fun, too). Naturally, since I actually left the house and went outside not once, but twice, in a short span of time, I have been really sick.

My goal for Diablo III this time around was to see if I could figure out how to get Monster Power to work, and then, to check it out. But, because I’m sick, I haz “the dumb”. Therefore, our first experience with Monster Power was … confusion.

The last time I played my Barbarian, Zeta, she was in Act I of Nightmare mode. By the time I’d stopped playing, she had reached level 34. Her (rather short this time) adventure continues from there!

I decided to return to the Cemetery of the Forsaken just to see if the dungeons had any other achievements for me. I got Jar of Souls (my favorite) a while back, and I got The Matriarch’s Bones the previous time I played.

Shawn and I had a little bit of time to play some D3. Last time, we ended up having to stop when an earthquake hit. This left my Demon Hunter, ThirtySeven, and Shawn’s Barbarian, Smashez, somewhere in the series of Zoltan Kulle quests. We were in Act II in normal mode of Diablo III.

Late last night, or early this morning (depending on your perspective), Shawn and I had time to play some Diablo III together. I was playing my level 23 Demon Hunter, ThirtySeven, and Shawn was playing his level 23 Barbarian, Smashez. Our adventure took a very unexpected turn a little bit before midnight!

We are in Act II in Normal Mode. We found some interesting monsters to kill.

In my previous blog, I described how I finally got my Barbarian, Zeta, into Nightmare Mode of Diablo III. Sadly, the server went down not too long after I started playing. Undaunted, I waited fifteen minutes and attempted to log back in. It worked! Here are some highlights from Zeta’s first (real) adventure in Nightmare mode.

The server placed me at the very beginning of the dungeon I was desperately running through, in an effort to reach the Checkpoint before the server crashed. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised by this.

After rolling some low-level alts in Diablo III, my next goal was to get them each to level 10. So far, the only one I’ve managed to get there is my little Demon Hunter, Zoeie. Here are some screenshots of what she encountered on her way to level 10.

The first thing I did after beating Diablo on Normal Difficulty was work on some alts. Previously, I rolled a little Demon Hunter, named Zoeie.  She is named after my main in WoW, who is named after my main in Meridian59, who was named after the last D&D character I ever played.

I did it! I finally did it! My Barbarian, Zeta, has officially killed Diablo (Normal difficulty). This makes me incredibly happy. There is sense of accomplishment that I feel after “finishing the game”. As always, I took screenshots of my journey.

When I stopped last time, Zeta was level 32, and at the Checkpoint for the Pinnacle of Heaven. It was about 6:00 in the morning, and I was just too tired to continue. Instead, I returned at a more normal time (well, “normal” for me), the next day.
