Flight Rising has a lot of achievements that involve breeding two of your dragons and hoping that the babies inherit a specific “special” gene. My first two attempts to earn the Circuit Breaker Achievement ended in failure. This time, it worked!

It seems the trick is to breed two dragons that each have the Circuit gene. All of the artwork in this post is copyright of Flight Rising.

This time, I chose Tron and Hewlett as the parent dragons. Each of them has the Circuit gene.

Tron is a male Guardian.
Primary: Obsidian Basic
Secondary: Black Basic
Tertiary: Aqua Basic

Hewlett is a female Guardian.
Primary: Tomato Basic
Secondary: Purple Basic
Tertiary: Splash Circuit

I always preview what the babies will look like when I breed dragons.  This time, all the babies in the preview had the Circuit gene.

Based upon the look of the offspring in the preview, I was confident that I would get at least one baby with a Circuit gene.  Instead, I got three!

I was finally able to earn the Circuit Breaker Achievement.

I’m keeping Agnus. The other two babies are going on the Auction House.  This blog will be updated to let you know what their fate was.

UPDATE: The two unnamed Circuit dragon babies went onto the Auction House, but didn’t sell. Here is what all three of the above babies looked like as adults:

Recently, Flight Rising made a post in which they clarified that exalting dragons does not “kill” them.  Instead, it is an honor.  The dragons that get exalted get to go live with one of the dragon deities.

I believe this is to encourage players to go ahead and exalt some of their dragons.  It seems that a lot of players were feeling bad, or guilty, about exalting dragons.  At first, it kind of bothered me.  But, then I realized how important exalting is to the mechanics of the game.

As such, I went ahead and exalted the two Circuit dragons that I had decided not to keep.  I gave them proper names first, because I find that to be fun.

Bitt got exalted to the Shadowbinder.

Byte was also exalted to the Shadowbinder.
