It has been a week! August 23, 2017 was Day 7 of Fall pollen season. Today was rough. I woke up, made sure the cockatiels were fed and watered, and struggled to get any work done. Eventually, I gave up and took a “nap”…. and woke up at 4:00 PM.
The most productive thing I managed to do today was microwave some French fries and the tastiest, best smelling, gluten-free fish fillets that I’ve ever had. There’s a total of four of them in the package, which makes up for them being small.
I also figured out how to get the new coffee machine to understand that I wanted iced coffee – not hot coffee. This attempt wasn’t entirely successful but was good enough for the moment.
I placed a large, plastic, cup in the coffee machine, and then told it to make enough coffee for a small mug. So, I got some iced coffee.
The pollen count today was 8.3, the highest it has been for the 2017 Fall pollen season (so far). The forecast indicates that the pollen count will reach 9 soon. Nines are painful, and 8.3 made me so exhausted that all I wanted to do was sleep.
