This year, I didn’t have a whole lot of time to spend playing WoW. However, I did manage to jump in for a little bit, here and there, and experience Winter Veil. Here’s some of the screenshots I took while I was visiting. These screenshots were taken on December 16, 17, 19, and 24 of 2012.
Giant tree in the Dwarven District of Stormwind
This is what happens when players don’t get off their mounts before talking to the vendors. Nobody can see the vendors, except these two big dragons (one of which appears to have decided that the goblin vendor is a tasty snack).
My Draenei is confused by the festivities. Why would someone cut down a tree, throw a bunch of colorful lights and baubles into it, and then drag it to Aerie Peak?
That’s one sturdy tree stand!
Forsaken Commoner: We still go through the motions, but the feast of Winter Veil feels empty now. In Orgrimmar they have the true celebration.
“We still go through the motions…feels empty now.” I can relate to that!
It cannot be easy to look all festive and merry while standing in the Undercity, and trying to sell wrapping paper to the Forsaken.
On the other hand, I bet this little goblin is making lots of money. “Location, location, location!”
Here stands a fashion disaster. That outfit just isn’t working for him!
…He knows when you’ve been sleeping…
…He knows when you’re awake…
…He knows if you’ve been bad or good… so be good, for goodness-sake!
Kharanos is pretty at this time of year.
Now, that’s how you wear a “Santa” outfit!
These two Winter Veil goblin vendors are probably making a killing. There can’t be a better Alliance location than a few feet away from Greatfather Winter in Ironforge.
This is my Priest, Bradanna, getting her photo taken with Greatfather Winter. She’s still a lowbie, and it’s nice to visit “Santa” when you are little.
