This is the next part of my series about Zalazane’s Fall.  It was the pre-Cataclysm event for the Horde.  All of my Horde characters were low level, so my blogs only include the quests from the event that were accessible to low level Horde characters.

In the previous blog, you turned in your Troll recruits to Champion Uru’zin.  He has no more quests for you, so you go back to Vanira for a new quest – “Lady of Da Tigers”.  The screenshots you see in this blog were taken on September 29, 2010.

As you can see, Vanira has another quest for you.  I found the new quest to be one of the most interesting quests in the Zalazane’s Fall event.

You get the quest “Lady of Da Tigers”.

Vanira: Remember de frogs ya made into me eyes and ears?  Well, dey’ve found somethin’ interestin’.

On an island to de southeast, dey’ve spied a tiger even de other cats seem to fear.  Dis tiger, I’ve never seen anythin’ like it.

It hunts wit’ da instincts of a cat, but de mind of a person.  It could be a powerful spirit and a strong ally.

I’ll be callin’ down the spirit o’ the tiger upon ya.  Use its gifts to locate this cat and challenge it.  See if ya can win its aid in our battle for the isles.

Vanira calls down the “Spirit o de Tiger” upon you.

Vanira: O spirit of de tigers, lend [player name]  your power and help us find de answers we seek!

And you are transformed!

Now, you can run across the water to Echo Isles.

When you get there, the Tiger Matriarch appears.

Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to fight the Matriarch Tiger.

Eventually, the Tiger Matriarch transforms into troll named Zen’tabra.  She says: “Dat be enough for now!”

Zen’tabra: “Don’t be lookin’ so surprised.  Your shaman friend has sharp eyes, or, should I say, sharp frogs.”

Zen’tabra: “My kind, da druids, we been layin’ low for some time now.  We been waitin’ to see when an’ if Vol’jin might return.”

Zen’tabra: “Now dat it looks like de Darkspear be returnin’ to these isles, maybe de time has come for us to reveal ourselves.”

Zen’tabra: “Go back to Vol’jin an’ tell him dis: Zen’tabra stands ready to help him in de coming battle.”

Zen’tabra disappears. Since you have transformed back to yourself, you will have to swim back to Sen’jin Village.

Instead of returning to Vanira, you must talk to Vol’jin to turn in the “Lady of Da Tigers” quest.

Vol’Jin: Zalazane’s time be runnin’ out.  De Echo Isles will belong to de Darkspear Tribe again!

Vol’jin: Vanira’s frogs be tellin’ de truth den?  Dis tiger be a druid and an ally? We couldn’t be hopin’ for a better outcome.  Dis be a good omen for de coming battle.
