Haunted is an Achievement that is delightfully described as: “Meet the following ghosts.” While there are some ghosts in Diablo III that are friendly or helpful, the ghosts that are part of the Haunted Achievement are not among them. These ghosts will try and kill your character, so be prepared to fight!
The Haunted Achievement was one that took me a long time to earn. Originally, the only way to complete this Achievement was to go to the locations that these ghosts were known to appear in and hope for the best. It was not a “sure thing”. Sometimes the ghosts would be there, and other times they would not be.
This Achievement was part of Diablo III before the Reaper of Souls expansion was released. After that, some of the ghosts on the list were included in Bounties (which made them much easier to “meet”).

Lucious the Depraved – Thief of Corpses
Lucious the Depraved can be found in Act I in the Cemetery of the Forsaken. He is not inside any of the Crypts, so look for him in the cemetery itself.
Dataminer – Unearths Spoils
Dataminer can be found in Act I in the Cemetery of the Forsaken in the Defiled Crypt.
Drury Brown – Thief of Bones
Drury Brown can be found in the Defiled Crypt, which is in Act I in the Cemetery of the Forsaken.
John Gorham Coffin – Resurrectionist
John Gorham Coffin can also be found in Act I in the Cemetery of the Forsaken in the Defiled Crypt.
Feckler’s Ghost – Horror of the Shadows
Feckler’s Ghost can be found in Act I in The Festering Woods.
The Archivist – Dark Lorekeeper
The Archivist can be found in Act II in The Unknown Depths.
The Tomekeeper – Dark Scribe
The Tomekeeper can be found in Act II in The Realm of Shadow.
