Today was Day 27 of the 2017 Fall pollen season. Yesterday, my acupuncturist recommended I start using a “dietary supplement” that is new to me. It is called Curaphen, and I started taking it today. So far, so good.
The pollen count today was 8.2. That is a bit higher than it was yesterday. I had great difficulty waking up today, and hit “snooze” over and over again.
Curaphen contains cucumin and tumeric (among other things). It does not contain sugar, salt, wheat, gluten, corn, dairy products, artificial coloring, artificial flavoring, or artificial preservatives.
The drug feels a lot like Sulfasalazine did when I first started taking it. By that, I mean it feels like it is opening up my lungs (sort of like an inhaler would). Sulfasalazine contained gluten (or wheat) in an inactive ingredient called pre gelatinized starch. It made me sick! That’s why I had to stop taking it.
Curaphen does not contain wheat or gluten. It should be good for me. I am super tired today. It could be because I’ve been outside a lot during this pollen season, or because the pollen count today is too high for me, or because today is Day 27 of this pollen season. Right now, I have high hopes for Curaphen.
