Today was Day 32 of the 2017 Fall pollen season. I woke up with eye pain, an unfortunate symptom of exposure to more allergens than my body can cope with. Waking up with eye pain ruins my whole day. I’m never quite right after that.
The pollen count today is 7.3, and the air smells of flowers. I’ve no idea what kind of flower was so fragrant today because I certainly didn’t go outside to investigate. The photo at the top of this blog is one I took on August 21, 2017, earlier in this Fall pollen season.
I’m exhausted. The only thing I’ve managed to accomplish today is moving video-game related blogs from my old website to this one. It’s time consuming, but simple enough that I can do it while suffering from allergies and a severe lack of energy.
My hope that Fall pollen season would only last a month has been dashed. I’m no longer interested in guessing when it will be over – I just want it to end.
